About Wrenfield

Small on purpose, since 2016

We started Wrenfield so that every patient would know their doctor's name, their nurse's number, and the cost of their care before it began. That is still the whole idea.

Our story

Built around one simple question

Dr. Naomi Castellano spent ten years at a large hospital fertility program. The medicine was excellent. But she kept hearing the same thing from patients: "I never know who to call."

So she built a clinic around that question. Every patient gets a named nurse coordinator with a direct line. Every plan comes with a written cost estimate. And every family, however it is shaped, sees itself in our forms and our words.

We have grown to three doctors and our own embryology lab, and we plan to stay this size. Small enough to know you. Big enough to offer every treatment you might need.

What we promise

Four promises we keep every day

  • One nurse, start to finish

You get a named nurse coordinator on day one. Same person, same direct line, from your first call to your first ultrasound.

  • Costs in writing first

Before any treatment starts, you get a written estimate with every line shown: procedure, medicine ranges, lab work, and storage.

  • Every family, every path

Single parents by choice, LGBTQ+ couples, people planning ahead, and couples who have tried for years. Our forms and our words fit all of you.

  • Room to decide

No package deadlines and no pushy follow-ups. Take the time you need. We are here when you are ready.

Our lab

An embryology lab under our own roof

Our lab is led by Tomas Lindqvist and sits one floor below our exam rooms. Your eggs, sperm, and embryos never leave the building, and the people caring for them know your name.

  • 01

Update calls on day 1, 3, and 5

Your embryologist calls with real counts, good news or hard news, so you are never left refreshing a portal.

  • 02

Fast-freeze method for eggs and embryos

Eggs and embryos are frozen with vitrification, the fast-freeze method now standard in fertility labs.

  • 03

    Two-person checks at every step

Every dish, tube, and transfer is checked by two people against your name and ID before anything moves.

  • 04

    Monitored storage, day and night

Storage tanks are alarmed and checked daily. You get a written storage record for everything we keep.

Our team

Seven people, one plan for you

Three doctors and the care team around them. All people on this sample site are fictional.

  • Grace Okafor, RN Lead nurse coordinator Has guided hundreds of families through their first cycle. Will text you a reminder the night before every visit.
  • Tomas Lindqvist, MS Embryology lab director Runs our lab and makes the day 1, day 3, and day 5 update calls himself whenever he can.
  • Hannah Brooks, LICSW Fertility counselor Leads donor counseling and our monthly support circle. Every patient gets one session included.
  • Marisol Vega Financial counselor Checks your benefits, explains your estimate line by line, and finds every program you qualify for.

Every family

Single parents, LGBTQ+ couples, and everyone between

Our forms ask for pronouns and roles, not assumptions. Our team trains on inclusive care every year. And you will never have to explain your family to get good care for it.
