Overview
Overview
Most journeys start here. A fertility assessment looks at the main things that affect getting pregnant: egg supply, ovulation, the uterus and tubes, and sperm. We test both partners when there are two, because sperm plays a part in many cases.
You get your results at a sit-down visit, not in a portal message. Your doctor explains what each one means, what it does not mean, and which options make sense next. Sometimes the answer is simply to keep trying with better timing.
Who it is for
Often a good fit when
- You are under 35 and have been trying for a year
- You are 35 or older and have been trying for six months
- Your cycles are irregular or very painful
- You want a baseline before deciding on egg freezing
- You want to know where you stand, with no pressure to start treatment

People often ask us
Does testing hurt?
Most tests feel like a normal checkup. The tube check can cause cramping for a few minutes. We suggest a pain reliever beforehand and walk you through each step.
Do both partners need testing?
Yes, when there are two. It saves time and money to look at both sides at once instead of one after the other.
What if all my results are normal?
That happens often, and it is useful to know. Your doctor will talk through timed cycles, IUI, or simply more time, depending on your age and how long you have been trying.
