Our physicians
Meet your doctors and your care team
Three reproductive endocrinologists and a small team around them. You will see the same faces from your first consult to your last ultrasound.
Speaks English, Spanish
Medical director, reproductive endocrinologist
Dr. Naomi Castellano, MD
- IVF
- PCOS
- Recurrent pregnancy loss
Dr. Castellano founded Wrenfield in 2016 after a decade at a large hospital fertility program. She wanted a clinic small enough that patients would always know who their doctor was.
She is known for long first consults and for drawing diagrams on the back of every results sheet. Patients say she explains things twice without ever making them feel slow.
Training
- Residency in obstetrics and gynecology
- Fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility
- Board certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility
Outside the clinic
Gardens badly, bakes well, and coaches her daughter's soccer team.
Speaks English, Hindi, Gujarati
Reproductive endocrinologist
Dr. Arjun Mehta, MD
- Fertility preservation
- Male factor
- IVF lab partnership
Dr. Mehta leads our fertility preservation program and works closely with oncology teams across the Twin Cities. He keeps two consult slots open every week for patients facing cancer treatment.
He also works hand in hand with our embryology lab and with urologists on male factor cases, so couples get one plan instead of two.
Training
- Residency in obstetrics and gynecology
- Fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility
- Board certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility
Outside the clinic
Runs along the river most mornings and is learning the cello, slowly.
Speaks English, Arabic, French
Reproductive endocrinologist
Dr. Leila Haddad, MD
- LGBTQ+ family building
- Donor programs
- Egg freezing
Dr. Haddad leads our LGBTQ+ and donor programs. She rewrote our intake forms in 2021 so every family could see itself in them, and she trains new staff on inclusive care each year.
Patients planning egg freezing appreciate her honesty. She gives personal estimates, not sales pitches, and she is happy to tell you when waiting makes more sense.
Training
- Residency in obstetrics and gynecology
- Fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility
- Board certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility
Outside the clinic
Swims year round, reads mystery novels, and hosts a long Sunday dinner.
