Overview
Overview
Using a donor is a big, thoughtful decision, and you should never feel rushed through it. We support donor sperm, donor eggs from a frozen egg bank or a known donor, and donated embryos. Every path includes a counseling session, because the questions here are about family as much as medicine.
We help you choose a bank, review donor profiles, and coordinate shipping and screening. For known donors, such as a friend or relative, we arrange the medical screening and refer you to a family law attorney for the agreement.
Who it is for
Often a good fit when
- Single people and same-sex couples who need donor sperm
- People with very low egg supply or early menopause
- Several IVF cycles with your own eggs that did not work
- Couples who want to avoid passing on a known genetic condition
- Families open to receiving a donated embryo

People often ask us
Can I use a friend or family member as a donor?
Yes. We arrange medical screening and a counseling session for everyone involved, and refer you to a family law attorney for a written agreement.
Will my child be able to learn about the donor?
Many banks offer identity-release donors, whose identity a child can request later. Our counselor can help you think through what feels right for your family.
Is there a waitlist for donor eggs?
With a frozen egg bank, there is usually no long wait. Known donors take a few extra weeks for screening.
