Overview

Overview

A cancer diagnosis brings a lot of decisions in a very short time. If you want to protect your chance of having biological children later, timing matters. We hold appointments open every week for people facing cancer treatment, and we aim to see you within two business days of your call.

We work directly with your oncology team. In many cases, egg or embryo freezing can start on any day of your cycle and finish in about two weeks. Sperm banking can often happen the same week. Your doctor will always put your cancer care first.

Often a good fit when

  • Anyone facing chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery that may affect fertility
  • People with a new diagnosis who want to understand their options quickly
  • Teens and young adults, together with a parent or guardian

Questions

People often ask us

Will this delay my cancer treatment?

We work to fit preservation around your oncology plan, not the other way around. If there is not enough time, your doctor will tell you honestly and talk through other options.

Is fertility preservation covered by insurance?

It depends on your plan and your state. Our financial counselor checks your coverage and any assistance programs within days.

Can teenagers preserve fertility?

Yes, in many cases. We meet with the teen and a parent or guardian together and explain options in age-appropriate words.
