Hollin Women's Health OB/GYN

About us

Our story: a practice built around listening.

Hollin is an independent OB/GYN practice. We are not part of a hospital group, which means the people who care for you also decide how this place runs: unhurried visits, costs explained first and a small team you get to know.

Our approach to care

Seeing an OB/GYN can feel personal and, sometimes, stressful. So we do the simple things on purpose. We talk before any exam. We explain each step before we take it. We tell you what a visit will cost before it happens. And we keep the team small, so the person who sees you next time already knows your story.

What we stand for

Our values

  1. Listen first

Every visit starts with your questions, with you dressed and seated, before any exam.

  2. Same small team

Six clinicians, two offices. You get to know the people who care for you.

  3. Costs before care

We check your benefits and tell you what to expect before the visit, not after the bill.

  4. Every family welcome

Single parents, couples of any gender, trans and nonbinary patients, teens and their parents.

  5. Honest about options

Including watching and waiting, and including second opinions. You make the call.

How we got here

Small on purpose

  1. 2012

Dr. Renata Alvarez opens Hollin with two exam rooms on Linden Grove Parkway.

  2. 2015

Our own ultrasound suite opens down the hall, so scans stop meaning a second trip.

  3. 2019

Noor Rahman joins as our first nurse-midwife, and the Midlothian office opens.

  4. 2023

Dr. Helen Marsh starts our menopause clinic, with 40-minute first visits.
