How billing works
No surprises
-
Before your visit
We check your benefits and call you if anything will cost more than your usual copay. Self-pay patients get a written good faith estimate.
-
At your visit
You pay your copay, if you have one. If we suggest a test or procedure that was not planned, we tell you before we do it.
-
After your visit
We bill your plan. You get one clear statement from us, online and by mail, with a phone number that reaches a real person.
Billing questions
Talk to a real person
Our billing team answers at (804) 555-0136, option 3, or by email at billing@hollin.example.
What is a good faith estimate?
If you are paying for yourself, you have the right to a written estimate of our charges before your visit. We send one when you book, and you can ask for it any time.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Any balance over $200 can be split into monthly payments with no interest. Ask our billing team, by phone or through the portal.
Can I use my HSA or FSA card?
Yes. We accept HSA and FSA cards, along with all major credit and debit cards.
What if my plan is not listed?
Call us. We bill many plans that are not listed here, and if we are out of network we will tell you what that means for your costs before you book.
