About Linnet
A small practice built around steady care
Linnet began with one idea: psychiatric care works better when people are not rushed, not surprised by costs, and not handed off to someone new every few months.
Why we started Linnet
Before Linnet, Dr. Marsh spent nine years in a busy hospital clinic. Visits were fifteen minutes. Patients waited months, then saw whoever was free. Many left with a new prescription and no clear idea why.
She opened Linnet in 2016 to do it differently: longer first evaluations, the same clinician every time, costs explained up front, and medication treated as one possible tool rather than the whole answer.
We are named after the linnet, a small, ordinary songbird. Nothing flashy. Steady, and good company.
What we believe
Four promises we keep
-
Clear before the first visit
You should know who you will see, how long it takes, and what it costs before you walk in. We check insurance and send a Good Faith Estimate to every self-pay patient.
-
One clinician, one plan
You see the same person each time, and you leave each visit with the plan written down. No starting over with someone new every few months.
-
Medication explained, never pushed
We explain options, side effects, and what to watch for, then decide with you. Saying no to a medicine is always allowed, and we never promise a prescription.
-
Part of your wider team
With your permission we talk with your therapist, family doctor, or child's school, so the people helping you are working from the same page.
How we grew, slowly on purpose
We add clinicians only when we can keep first evaluations long and follow-ups unhurried.

Ready when you are.
Tell us a little about what is going on and choose an intake time, in person or by video. We check your insurance and confirm everything by phone before your first visit.
