About Erik
Erik Lindqvist came to law by way of a hard hat. Trained as a civil engineer, he spent five years on New York high-rise projects before law school, and he still walks accident sites the way an engineer does — reading tie-off points, guardrail specs, and site logs that most lawyers hand straight to an expert.
His practice centers on New York's Labor Law §§240 and 241, the 'Scaffold Law' that gives injured construction workers some of the strongest protections in the country — protections many workers are never told about. A workers'-compensation claim is often only part of the recovery; Erik's job is finding the third-party case that compensation law leaves on the table.
