The story of the house
Sixty-one floors up, the city stops being a place you live in and becomes something you watch. Penthouse 61 wraps three exposures in eleven-foot glass, and at dusk, the hour I insist on photographing, the marble floor holds the last of the light like water.
The residence was finished in 2021 by the tower's own design studio and has never been altered: book-matched Calacatta, a bronze-framed gallery hall, and a primary suite that takes the sunrise corner alone.
Above it all sits the terrace and the building's glass-edge pool. There are eight penthouses in Alderport above the sixtieth floor. Only this one has ever come to market.
Worth noticing
- 5,300 sq ft over one level, three exposures
- 11-ft floor-to-ceiling glass throughout
- Private 1,100 sq ft terrace with outdoor kitchen
- Direct access to the tower's glass-edge pool deck
- Book-matched Calacatta marble, bronze gallery hall
- Two private elevator landings, 3 parking bays
