Lead capture pattern, built

A service area checker pattern for trades that only cover part of the whole map.

Most home-service companies cover a radius or a set list of counties, not an entire metro or province. This pattern checks that before anyone wastes time on a quote for a job outside the real coverage area, so a truck never gets dispatched to an address your team was never going to serve.

How the checker actually works

One simple code, one answer, then the real form if you're covered.

What it asks first

Just a ZIP or postal code, before any other question at all, since whether you're covered at all is the first thing that actually matters, more than the job details or even a name at this stage.

How the answer gets decided

The code is matched against your actual coverage list or radius and answers plainly, either yes with a clear path into the quote, or not quite, along with who to call instead if you happen to know someone who covers that area.

Where a covered lead lands

A covered address moves straight into your quote or booking flow, and the details reach your team even if the visitor doesn't finish the rest of the form, so a partial answer still isn't a wasted visit.

What happens with a near miss

An address just outside the line gets logged separately instead of being discarded, in case that area is worth adding to your coverage later, once enough near misses show up from the same part of town.

Why checking real coverage first actually saves everyone real time

It checks coverage before asking for a name

Nobody spends five minutes on a full quote request for a job you were never going to take. The coverage question comes first, not last, which respects the visitor's time as much as your team's.

It can follow real licensing boundaries

Some trades, like electrical work and certain plumbing jobs, are licensed by province or state. A company licensed on one side of a border may not legally take a job on the other, and the checker can respect that line instead of quoting a job it can't legally do.

It turns a no into useful information

Instead of a dead end, a not-covered answer can name the area you do actually serve, so the visitor at least leaves knowing something instead of nothing, and maybe tells a neighbor who actually is covered.

It takes both ZIP and postal codes

Coverage on this side of the border or the other doesn't stop at which code format someone happens to type in first, since a company near the border can easily serve both kinds of address.

How we actually build this into your site

01

We map your real coverage area

Whether that's a radius from a shop, a specific list of counties, or a mix of ZIP and postal codes, we start from what your team actually dispatches to today, not a guess at your general region.

02

We build the checker and the two paths

A covered address flows into your quote or booking form, and a not-covered one gets a clear answer instead of being led along toward a request that was never going anywhere.

03

We connect the covered path to your existing flow

Once someone's confirmed as covered, they move straight into whatever quote or booking process your site already runs, without starting over or answering the same question a second time.
