Booking Integration
Zocdoc bookings, wired into your ad tracking.
A booked Zocdoc appointment is only useful in your reporting if it's tracked back to the ad, keyword, or page that produced it. We build that path and test it with a real booking before we call it done.

What we set up
The concrete work behind a tracked Zocdoc booking.
Place the booking path where patients click
We put Zocdoc's book-online button or embedded widget on your homepage and every relevant service page, in the spot patients actually use, not buried below the fold or in a footer link.
Turn a confirmed booking into a tracked conversion
A completed Zocdoc booking fires a conversion event into Google Ads and a key event into GA4, so the campaign or organic listing that earned the visit gets credit for it, not just the click. Zocdoc's own automatic reminder emails and texts stay untouched; we only add the tracking layer behind them.
Match your Zocdoc profile to your Google Business Profile
Practice name, address, phone number, specialty, and accepted insurance get checked against your Google Business Profile so a patient sees the same details wherever they land, and Google isn't reading two conflicting versions of your practice.
Build the fallback path for non-Zocdoc patients
A phone number and a short contact form stay live next to the widget for patients who would rather call than book online, and both routes get tracked the same way as the widget itself.
How this engagement is scoped
Prerequisites and access
We need delegate or admin access to your Zocdoc practice profile settings, edit access to the pages where the widget goes, and access to your Google Ads and GA4 accounts. Zocdoc's own patient marketplace runs in the United States, so this job is scoped for US-based practices, and it applies whether your specialty is dental, dermatology, primary care, or another Zocdoc-listed field.
What's delivered
A live, correctly placed booking path, a written map of what data flows from Zocdoc into Ads and GA4, a matched profile between Zocdoc and your Google Business Profile, and a working fallback for patients who skip the widget.
The acceptance test
We run a real test booking from the ad click through to a Zocdoc confirmation and confirm it lands as one conversion in Google Ads and one key event in GA4, with no duplicate firing and no dropped events.
Out of scope
We don't manage your ranking inside Zocdoc's own marketplace search, verify patient insurance, or sync appointment data to your practice management or EHR system. Those can be scoped as separate work if you need them.
How the engagement runs
01
Audit the current path
We check what's live today: whether the widget is on the site at all, whether it matches your actual Zocdoc profile, and where a booking currently disappears from your tracking.
02
Build and wire the tracking
We place or fix the widget, set up the conversion event in Ads, the key event in GA4, and align the Zocdoc profile with your Google Business Profile.
03
Test and hand off
We complete a real booking end to end, confirm it's tracked correctly on both sides, and leave you a plain explanation of exactly what changed and why.
Zocdoc integration FAQ
No. Zocdoc's patient marketplace and booking network operate in the United States, so this job is built for US practices. Canadian practices usually run Jane App, Mindbody, or a direct-booking widget instead, and we wire those the same way under a different job.
No. Zocdoc lets a practice add a team member or partner with limited settings access, and that's what we ask for. We never need your personal login to do this work.
It won't change how Zocdoc's internal search ranks your practice; that algorithm belongs to Zocdoc, not to us. What it does is make sure the booking you already earn shows up correctly in your own ad and analytics reporting, where you can actually act on it.
There's no flat rate for this one. How many pages need the Zocdoc widget and how much of your tracking already works both change the number, so we put a real figure in your free proposal instead. It lands within one business day, no setup fee, month to month.
Often, yes, but it depends on whether Zocdoc offers an API or webhook at your account tier, and which CRM you run. Tell us your CRM in the proposal and we'll scope that alongside this job rather than guessing at it here.
Get your Zocdoc bookings tracked properly.
Tell us where your booking widget lives today, what's connected already, and how many locations or providers are involved. A free, scoped proposal will be in your inbox in a single business day.
