Website Accessibility Fix
Fix the accessibility problems on your website.
We go through your site the way a screen reader user or a keyboard-only visitor actually would, fix what stops them, and hand you a written record of what changed.
- Tested with a real screen reader
- WCAG 2.1 AA as the target
- Free scope within one business day
What we do
A real pass through your pages, not a scanner report.
Screen reader and keyboard pass
We go through your top pages and your most used flows, like checkout, booking, or your contact form, with a screen reader (NVDA or VoiceOver) and a keyboard only, no mouse.
Colour and contrast fixes
Text and buttons checked against the WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio and corrected wherever a reader with low vision could struggle to make out words or links.
Structure and labels
Headings put back into a logical order, images given real alt text, and every form field given a label a screen reader can actually announce.
Focus states and skip links
Visible focus outlines restored on every interactive element, and a skip-to-content link added so keyboard users are not stuck tabbing through the whole menu on every page.
The access we need, and where this fix stops.
What we need from you
Admin or CMS access to the pages involved, a staging copy if you have one, and a list of the flows that matter most to your business, like your booking form or your online store checkout.
What gets delivered
Fixes applied directly to your site's markup, styles, and ARIA where needed, plus a written summary of every issue found and how it was closed. Useful to keep on file if a demand letter ever shows up.
How we prove it worked
We retest the same flows with a screen reader and keyboard only after the fix. If a person using either one can complete your top three flows without getting stuck, it passes.
What this does not cover
This is a remediation pass, not a legal opinion. No agency can certify a site as lawsuit proof under the ADA. It also does not include ongoing monitoring unless that is added to a separate plan.
How the fix runs.
01
Audit your real flows
We list the pages and actions that matter most to your business and go through each one with a screen reader and keyboard, noting exactly where a real visitor would get stuck.
02
Fix in priority order
Blocking issues, the ones that stop someone from finishing a task, get fixed first. Cosmetic issues follow. You see a running list as it closes out.
03
Retest and hand off
We retest the fixed flows the same way we found the problems, then send you a written record of what changed, so you have it on file.
Website accessibility FAQ.
An automated scanner catches part of the problem, things like missing alt text or low contrast, but it cannot tell you if a person using a screen reader can actually finish your booking form or checkout. That only shows up when someone tests it by hand, which is what we do.
No agency can promise that, because there is no official certification for ADA compliance. What we can do is fix the real barriers against the WCAG 2.1 AA standard most courts and demand letters point to, and give you a written record of the work.
It depends how many pages and flows are involved. We scope the real number of pages and hours after a first look at your site and send a proposal with a clear price, usually within one business day.
The testing is the same either way: screen reader and keyboard through your real pages. The fix itself depends on your platform. On WordPress we often work inside your theme and plugins; on a custom build we edit the code directly.
Sites change over time as pages get added, so a one time fix is a snapshot, not a forever guarantee. If you want it checked on an ongoing basis, we can scope that separately alongside your other SearchPod work.
Get a real accessibility fix, not just a scan.
Send us your site and we will tell you honestly what needs fixing and what it costs. You get a clear price within one business day, month to month.
