GoHighLevel to Google Ads
GoHighLevel pipelines, reported back to Google Ads.
GoHighLevel already tracks which funnel or form a lead came through. We connect that to Google Ads so a closed deal, not just a captured lead, is what your ad account learns from.
- 10% of ad budget, $600 a month minimum
- No contracts, month to month
- 30 day guarantee on the first month
The workflow
What connects a GoHighLevel win to a Google Ads bid.
The identity match
GoHighLevel's own funnels and forms record the source of a lead automatically, including the click identifier when the lead arrived from a Google ad. That identifier is what we use to match the eventual win back to the original click, with a hashed email as a fallback once it has expired.
The field map
GoHighLevel calls its deals Opportunities and moves them through a Pipeline with stages you name yourself. We agree on one stage, usually the one that means an invoice was paid or a contract was signed, as the trigger that reports to Google Ads.
Where the data enters
The exact steps depend on your GoHighLevel plan and which version of its workflow builder and native integrations your account has, since GoHighLevel changes this often. We confirm what your sub account actually offers before we build, rather than assuming last year's screenshot still applies.
One sub account at a time
If you run GoHighLevel as an agency with a sub account per client, the mapping gets built and tested separately for each one. A pipeline stage named Closed Won in one client's account can mean something different in another, so we never assume a name alone tells us what the stage actually represents.
What we check before an agency rolls this out.
Built per sub account, not guessed
We do not copy a mapping from one client into another and hope the stage names line up. Each sub account gets its own short audit before we touch its Google Ads conversions.
Native path first, connector second
We use GoHighLevel's own workflow actions when your plan supports what we need. A general connector like Zapier or Make is the fallback, not the default, since fewer moving parts means fewer places for it to break. An agency running many sub accounts feels that difference the most, because every extra moving part multiplies across every client.
Duplicate opportunities filtered
A lead who fills out two forms in one funnel can create two Opportunities in GoHighLevel. We build the export so a closed deal reports once to Google Ads, not once per duplicate record, using the contact record rather than the opportunity record as the anchor for matching.
Re-tested after GoHighLevel updates
GoHighLevel ships product changes frequently, often with little warning. Each time something shifts in its workflow builder or its Google Ads related features, a fresh set of test opportunities gets run through before anyone trusts whatever the live numbers happen to say.
How we build it.
01
Audit the sub account
Inside the sub account itself, we work out what your pipeline stages are actually meant to represent, whether funnels and forms are already saving the click identifier, and what the current plan's workflow builder is capable of doing.
02
Map and test
From there we decide which Pipeline stage fires the conversion, line up the matching rules on the Google Ads side, and run test opportunities until the value and date both check out before anything goes live for the client.
03
Document per client
Whoever manages the account, you or the client, gets a written summary of the mapping, laid out so the whole team can see exactly what reports to Google Ads, and why, without having to guess.
GoHighLevel and Google Ads offline conversions, answered.
Not identically. What a plan's workflow builder can trigger and what native integrations it offers changes by tier and by GoHighLevel's own release schedule. We confirm what your specific sub account has before scoping the build.
Each sub account is its own build, since pipeline stages and funnels differ client to client. We quote per sub account in your proposal so you know the real cost before we start.
If the click identifier was never captured because the lead arrived some other way, we fall back to a hashed email or phone match through Google's enhanced conversions for leads feature instead. This happens more often than owners expect, since not every lead follows the funnel a business designed for them.
Often yes, depending on how GA4 is set up on that sub account's domain. We scope that as a separate, smaller add on once we see the account, since not every client tracks GA4 the same way, and some agency built funnels never had GA4 wired in at all.
We plan for it as a certainty, not a risk we hope avoids us. Every time GoHighLevel adjusts its workflow actions or Google Ads related features, that sub account gets retested before its reporting is trusted again.
Map your GoHighLevel sub accounts onto real Google Ads numbers.
Tell us how many sub accounts you need this on and what your pipeline stages mean in each one. We will map the exact build for each account, free, within one business day, and quote per sub account so the cost stays clear.
