Pipedrive to Google Ads

Pipedrive deals, reported back to Google Ads.

Pipedrive is built around one clear action: marking a deal won. We turn that action into a signal Google Ads can bid on, so your account learns from actual sales, not just clicks.

  • 10% of ad budget, $600 a month minimum
  • No contracts, month to month
  • 30 day guarantee on the first month

The workflow

What connects a Pipedrive win to a Google Ads bid.

The identity match

A hidden field on your lead capture form saves the click identifier onto the person or deal in Pipedrive when they arrive from a Google ad. We match on that where it is still fresh, and fall back to a hashed email or phone number once the window has passed.

Where the data enters

Pipedrive publishes documented webhooks that fire when a deal changes status. We point that webhook at a connector like Zapier or Make, which formats the record and sends it into Google Ads' offline conversion import on a set schedule.

The stage that fires

We agree on one status change, deal marked Won, as the only trigger. Deals sitting in earlier pipeline stages, even ones your team feels confident about, stay out of the feed until they actually close.

The field map

Deal value, currency, and close date in Pipedrive need to line up with what Google Ads expects for a conversion's value and timing. We document the exact fields used, since custom fields vary from one Pipedrive account to the next, and a pipeline built years ago often has fields nobody remembers adding.

What we check before a sales team trusts this.

Built around one status, not many

We do not try to guess intent from probability percentages or deal age. Marked Won is the only event that counts, so the numbers in Google Ads mean what your sales team already means by a sale, not what a forecasting model estimates it might mean.

Webhook tested for reliability

A webhook that misfires once in a while will quietly under report your real conversions. We test the connector under normal use for a period before turning off manual checks, not just once on setup day, since a webhook that works in a demo does not always hold up under a busy sales team's real pace.

Lost and reopened deals excluded

If a deal gets marked Won and later reopened or reversed, we build the sync so it does not leave a phantom conversion sitting in Google Ads that never should have counted. A refunded sale gets the same treatment, since the original win no longer reflects what actually happened.

Re-tested after platform updates

Pipedrive updates its webhooks and automation on one timetable, and whatever connector sits in the middle keeps its own separate one. The two rarely move together, which is exactly why deals get run through again the moment either one shifts.

How we build it.

01

Audit your pipeline

We start with your current deal stages, checking whether the click identifier is already landing on your forms, and confirming how deal value and currency get recorded in the account today.

02

Build and test the webhook

The webhook comes next: wired to Pipedrive's deal status changes, its matching rules set on the Google Ads side, and a handful of real won deals run through before we call the build finished.

03

Hand off a plain record

The webhook, the connector, and the exact field map all get written down for your team, so a question about a number later does not require calling us to answer it.
