Implementations / Jobber to GA4

Send Jobber jobs into GA4 as key events.

A quote request on your site is not a booked job. Jobber tracks the job after that. We connect the two, so GA4 counts a scheduled job, not just a form fill, as the thing your ads are judged against.

  • 10% of ad budget, $600 a month minimum
  • No contracts, month to month

The workflow

What connects a booked Jobber job to a GA4 key event.

The field map

We agree on one Jobber action, usually a quote converting to a scheduled job, as the trigger. From there we decide whether the job's dollar value should ride along into GA4 as an event parameter, based on what your quotes actually estimate.

The identity match

GA4 keys every event to a client ID, which we capture from your site's own GA4 cookie before a visitor requests a quote and carry through to the record Jobber holds, so a job scheduled days later can still tie back to the original session.

Where the data enters

Jobber's Developer Center lets an app register webhooks on specific object actions, but the notification itself only carries an account ID and an item ID, not the job's own details. A follow-up call to Jobber's GraphQL API is what actually pulls the job record, before anything gets forwarded on to GA4's Measurement Protocol as a server side event.

How failures surface

GA4's DebugView shows an event arriving in real time during testing, and its Realtime report shows it after. A quiet webhook, one that never triggered the follow-up lookup, is the most common failure, so we check Jobber's own webhook delivery log alongside GA4 rather than trusting either report on its own.

The proof we need before a number is believed.

Access we need first

A Jobber account able to register an app in its Developer Center, plus edit access to your GA4 property to mark the new event as a key event and to generate the Measurement Protocol credentials.

What gets delivered

A registered Jobber webhook, the middleware step that looks up the full job record, and the GA4 event flowing in and marked as a key event, plus a written note on exactly what triggers it.

The acceptance test

We schedule one real test job through the trigger action and confirm it appears in GA4's DebugView with the right client ID and value attached, before the event gets marked a key event for reporting.

What is out of scope

We do not change how your crews use Jobber day to day, or which jobs your office staff choose to schedule. We build an accurate signal from the action you pick, nothing about your scheduling process itself.

How we build it.

01

Audit

We check your GA4 setup, confirm which Jobber action best represents a real booked job for your business, and register the app inside Jobber's Developer Center.

02

Build

We wire the webhook to the follow-up lookup call, format the result as a GA4 Measurement Protocol event, and mark it as a key event inside your GA4 property.

03

Verify

A real job runs through the full path and we watch it land in GA4's DebugView with the correct client ID before calling the build finished and handing over the reference note.
