The brief
Veridian's EV drivetrain line was sold out; the expansion had to add 320,000 SF of assembly space — with twin 60-ton crane runways and a dedicated substation — while the existing plant kept building units on the other side of a shared wall, three shifts a day.

The build
Design-build with vibration and dust protocols agreed with plant engineering before demolition of the shared wall began. Crane rails were surveyed at every splice and load-tested against vendor tolerances. The 25 MVA substation and medium-voltage loop were energized in a sequence rehearsed with the utility across four planned outages, none of which touched a production shift.

The handover
Handover met the owner's line-installation date with eight days' float. Production in the existing plant ran uninterrupted for all twenty months — the metric the plant manager cared about more than any other.
