- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE1+ year of consistent strength training. We don't take true beginners; we recommend a Self-paced template instead.
- EQUIPMENTBarbell, rack, bench, plates. We can write a dumbbell-only block but it's a downgrade — full gym is better.
- TIME COMMITMENT3 — 5 sessions/week, 60 — 90 min each. The Hybrid program runs 6 sessions but two are short conditioning pieces.
- INJURY HISTORYRecent acute injury (last 6 months) — we want a clearance note from your physio or doctor before we program around it.
- BUDGET$95 — $425 / month depending on program. We don't run discounts, sliding scales, or barter.
Is the assessment really free?
Yes. The 60-second match + spec doc are free. The intake call is free if we move forward; if we agree it's not a fit on your end OR mine, we both walk.
What if you don't take me?
About 20% of applicants don't move forward — usually wrong-stage (true beginners), wrong-fit (looking for a meal-plan service, not coaching), or scheduling. We'll tell you why and recommend an alternative coach if relevant.
Can I switch programs mid-block?
Yes. Mid-block we adjust direction; mid-mesocycle we don't change the architecture. Switching from Strength → Hybrid usually happens at the 8-week boundary.
How fast can we start?
Intake calls run Monday + Thursday. Block 1 ships within 5 business days of intake. So: ~10 days from form fill to first session, on average.
