Autoimmune support

Autoimmune conditions need a specialist, and we will never ask you to leave yours. What we add is time: for sleep, food, stress, movement and the day-to-day questions that don't fit in a short specialist visit.

Who it's for

Does this sound familiar?

  • A diagnosis and a medicine, but little help with daily life
  • Flares you'd like to understand better
  • Fatigue and pain that come and go
  • Questions about diet that get different answers online
  • Several specialists and no one looking at the whole picture

If something feels urgent or is getting worse quickly, call your primary care doctor today or 911 in an emergency.

How we approach it

Four steps, in this order

  1. 01

    Start with your care team

With your permission, we get records from your specialists and send them our notes. You stay on the medicines they prescribe.

  2. 02

    Track flares

A simple flare log for sleep, stress, food, infections and your cycle. Over a few months, patterns get easier to spot.

  3. 03

    Build the foundations

Anti-inflammatory eating with our dietitian, vitamin D and iron checked, and sleep and gentle movement plans you can keep.

  4. 04

    Coordinate

If something changes, we flag it to your specialist quickly. One shared plan beats three separate ones.

A note on the evidence

Food changes can ease symptoms for some people with autoimmune conditions. They work best next to medical treatment, not as a replacement for it.

Working with your other doctors

Your rheumatologist, dermatologist or gastroenterologist stays in charge of disease-modifying medicines. We share notes after every key visit and send a short summary if a flare pattern shows up.

What we won't do

We don't claim to reverse autoimmune disease or replace your medicines. Please never stop a prescribed medicine without talking to the doctor who prescribed it.

When we refer you elsewhere

Some things need a specialist or urgent care first. If any of these apply, we send you to the right place before going further.

  • Fever with a rash or new joint swelling
  • New weakness, numbness or vision changes
  • Signs of infection while on immune-suppressing medicine
  • Any question about stopping or changing a prescribed medicine

Questions

About autoimmune support

All questions
Do I need a referral from my rheumatologist?

No referral is needed, but we ask for permission to contact your specialist. Care works better when everyone has the same information.

Will you tell me to go gluten-free?

Only if there is a reason, such as celiac disease or a clear pattern in your log. We don't remove whole food groups by default.
