Metabolic health
Blood sugar and cholesterol problems often build quietly for years. We measure more than the basics, let you see your own glucose patterns with a two-week sensor trial, and treat with food, movement, sleep and medicine when it helps.

Who it's for
Does this sound familiar?
- An A1c in the prediabetes range
- A doctor mentioned fatty liver
- High triglycerides or LDL cholesterol
- Weight that crept up despite real effort
- A family history of diabetes or early heart disease
If something feels urgent or is getting worse quickly, call your primary care doctor today or 911 in an emergency.
How we approach it
Four steps, in this order
-
01
Measure what matters
A1c, fasting insulin, a full lipid panel with ApoB, liver enzymes and blood pressure. Lipoprotein(a) once, for most people.
-
02
See your own patterns
An optional 14-day glucose sensor shows how meals, sleep and walks affect you. We review the data together.
-
03
Small changes that last
Meal patterns with the dietitian, a walking or strength plan with the health coach, and sleep. One or two changes at a time.
-
04
Medicine when it helps
Metformin, statins and GLP-1 medicines are real tools. We talk about them honestly, including cost and side effects, and prescribe when it makes sense.
A note on the evidence
Glucose sensors are a teaching tool here, not a diagnosis. Short spikes after a meal are normal. We look at patterns across days.
Tests we may order
Only when they change the plan
- Foundations blood panel Includes A1c, fasting insulin, lipids with ApoB Self-pay, $185
- 14-day glucose sensor trial Sensor, setup and a review visit $150, included in Complete
- Lipoprotein(a) An inherited heart risk marker Self-pay, $45
Working with your other doctors
Your primary care doctor keeps managing blood pressure checks and routine screenings. We send them your labs and any medicine changes so nothing is doubled up.
What we won't do
We don't promise a number of pounds, and we are not a weight-loss injection clinic. Medicine is one option inside a whole plan.
When we refer you elsewhere
Some things need a specialist or urgent care first. If any of these apply, we send you to the right place before going further.
- Very high blood sugar, or extreme thirst with weight loss
- Chest pain or shortness of breath (call 911)
- Signs of advanced liver disease (we refer to a liver specialist)

What it costs
Included in both memberships. The glucose sensor trial is $150, or included once a year in Complete.
Memberships start at $175 a month for the first six months. Out of network with insurance; superbills provided for visits.
See every priceDo you prescribe GLP-1 medicines?
When they fit your health picture, yes. We talk through cost, insurance coverage, side effects and what happens if you stop, and we pair medicine with nutrition and strength work.
Do I have to wear a glucose sensor?
No. It is optional. Some people find it eye-opening; others prefer a food log. Both work.
