Recovery: Google Ads

The clicks are coming in and still nobody converts.

Traffic without leads almost always breaks at one of four points: the landing page, the form, the tracking setup, or the offer itself. We check each one in order before touching your campaigns.

  • Full funnel check, not just the ads
  • Written cause before any changes
  • No cost to see the scope

Evidence, then action

How we find where visitors drop off

The evidence we pull first

We look at the exact landing page a real visitor lands on, not the domain, plus the conversion action setup in Google Ads and GA4, a session recording if one exists, and the mobile experience specifically, since most clicks now arrive on a phone.

The triage order

First we confirm conversions are actually being counted correctly, since a broken tracking setup can hide leads that are already happening. Next we check the landing page for message match with the ad, then the form itself, then page speed and mobile usability.

What usually fixes it

A landing page that matches the ad's promise, a shorter form, a visible phone number, and a page that loads fast on mobile solve most of these cases. Sometimes the leads were already coming in and only the tracking was blind to them.

What we cannot promise

We cannot promise a specific conversion rate, since that depends on your offer, your price point, and your market, not just the page. We can promise we will find the actual drop off point and give you a plain answer on the fix.

The decision tree we run

If GA4 and Google Ads show different conversion counts

we check the tracking setup before touching the page, since a mismatch usually means leads exist that the ads account is simply not seeing.

If most clicks come from mobile and the form is long

we check load time and the number of fields, since a slow page or a ten field form loses far more mobile visitors than desktop ones.

If the landing page is your homepage, not a dedicated page

we check whether the ad's specific offer appears anywhere on that page, since a general homepage often does not match what the ad promised.

If session recordings show visitors scrolling past the form

we check what sits directly above the form, since a wall of text or a large photo can push the one thing you want them to see below the fold.

How the engagement runs

01

Read access and a session review

We ask for access to Google Ads, GA4, and the landing page, plus any session recording tool already installed.

02

A written breakdown of the drop off

You get a plain answer on where visitors are leaving, whether that is tracking, the page, the form, or the offer.

03

Fix, then a conversion check

We make the agreed fix and watch conversion numbers over the following weeks to confirm the leads are actually showing up now.

Clicks but no leads questions

Find out where your leads are dropping off

Send us access to the ads account, GA4, and the landing page. We will point to the exact step where visitors leave and send a scope within one business day.
