Implementations / Booksy to Google Ads

Connect Booksy bookings to Google Ads.

A barbershop or salon running Booksy Biz wants Google Ads to see a filled chair, not just a page view. We tell you honestly what Booksy's own platform allows before promising a connection it cannot support.

  • 10% of ad budget, $600 a month minimum
  • No contracts, month to month
  • 30 day guarantee on the first month

The workflow

What actually connects a Booksy booking to Google Ads.

The field map

Where we can reach booking data at all, we trigger on a new appointment and decide whether the service price should carry over into Google Ads as the conversion value, based on what your menu charges for a first visit.

The identity match

A hidden field on your booking page saves the gclid the moment a client clicks through from a Google ad, so a booking placed afterward can still be matched back to that click, wherever the booking data can actually be reached.

Where the data enters

Booksy documents a public API covering appointments and other booking data with around ninety endpoints, but it returns an authorization error without credentials Booksy issues directly, and getting an app registered means contacting Booksy's own team rather than signing up self serve. Booksy's Zapier support is thin and inconsistent for most accounts, so for a typical single-location Booksy Biz subscriber, a scheduled export of your own booking report is usually the realistic starting point, not a live API feed.

How failures surface

Where a live connection exists, Google Ads reports a rejection rate inside its own conversion import summary. Where we are working from an exported report instead, the honest failure mode is a delay between when a booking happens and when it gets uploaded, which we tell you plainly rather than presenting a batch upload as real time.

What we check before promising anything.

Access we need first

We first find out whether your Booksy account has, or can get, direct API credentials from Booksy's own team. Failing that, we need access to your Booksy Biz reporting export and admin rights in Google Ads regardless of which path applies.

What gets delivered

Either a live webhook connection into Google Ads' conversion import, if Booksy grants your account API access, or a recurring export and upload process built around your Booksy Biz reports, with a written note on exactly which path we used and why.

The acceptance test

We take one real booking, either from a live webhook or from an exported report, and confirm it appears in Google Ads' conversion reporting with the correct value attached, on whatever timeline the chosen path actually allows.

What is out of scope

We cannot get your account API access that Booksy has not granted, and we will not claim a real-time connection where only a periodic export exists. We build the most honest version of this workflow your account currently supports.

How we build it.

01

Audit

We check whether your Booksy account has any existing API access, review your Booksy Biz reporting options, and agree on which booking action best represents a real new client for you.

02

Build

We either build the direct webhook connection where API access exists, or set up a recurring export and upload process from your Booksy Biz reports, plus the gclid capture on your booking page.

03

Verify

A real booking moves through the chosen path, and we confirm it lands correctly in Google Ads' reporting before handing over the written reference and calling the build finished.
