Implementations / NexHealth to Google Ads
Send NexHealth bookings to Google Ads.
A dental or medical practice using a NexHealth-powered booking widget needs to know which ad filled the schedule, without sending Google anything about why the patient came in. We build that carefully on NexHealth's own signed webhook system.
- 10% of ad budget, $600 a month minimum
- No contracts, month to month
- 30 day guarantee on the first month
The workflow
What connects a NexHealth booking to a Google Ads conversion.
The field map
We trigger on a new patient appointment being confirmed, or on the visit being marked completed if your practice tracks attendance separately, and decide whether a visit fee should carry over as the conversion value.
The identity match
A hidden field on your booking widget saves the gclid to the patient record the moment they click through from a Google ad, so an appointment confirmed afterward can still be matched back to that click.
Where the data enters
NexHealth's Synchronizer API documents a signed webhook system, registered against an endpoint we run, covering appointment status changes and patient record updates, with retry and replay handling built in. Most practices reach this data through the vendor running their booking widget on top of NexHealth, so we confirm your specific access path before wiring anything to it.
How failures surface
Rejected uploads appear as a rejection count in the Google Ads conversion import summary. On the NexHealth side, a webhook that stops arriving usually traces back to the practice's scheduling widget vendor changing something upstream, which we check first before assuming our own middleware step is at fault.
What we check before a practice trusts this.
Access we need first
Confirmation of how your practice reaches NexHealth's webhook system, usually through your booking widget vendor rather than direct developer access, plus admin rights in Google Ads to set up the conversion action.
What gets delivered
A working webhook feeding a middleware step into Google Ads' offline conversion import or enhanced conversions, plus a written note on exactly what triggers it and what never gets sent to Google.
The acceptance test
We confirm one real test appointment through the trigger status and check that it lands in Google Ads' conversion reporting with the correct value and nothing about the visit's reason anywhere in the payload.
What is out of scope
We do not build anything that would need a diagnosis, a treatment code, or other clinical detail to work. If a request would need that kind of data, we say so directly and look for another way to measure it.
How we build it.
01
Audit
We confirm how your practice's booking widget connects to NexHealth, check your current Google Ads setup, and agree on the appointment status that should count.
02
Build
We connect the confirmed webhook access to a middleware step, add the gclid capture to your booking widget, and configure the matching conversion action in Google Ads.
03
Verify
A real test appointment runs through the trigger status, and we confirm it lands correctly in Google Ads' reporting before handing over the written reference and calling the build finished.
NexHealth and Google Ads, answered.
Usually through the company that built your booking widget on top of NexHealth, rather than as a direct developer account for the practice itself. We confirm your specific access path first.
No. We send that an appointment happened and, if you choose, a visit fee. Nothing about a diagnosis, a treatment type, or the reason for the visit is ever included.
Whichever your practice tracks more reliably. A confirmed booking that no shows tells Google Ads nothing useful, so we lean toward completed visits where that status is tracked.
Yes, though we scope the webhook per location if you run more than one, since booking widgets and front desk workflows often differ location to location.
That is the most common way this kind of connection breaks, since the vendor controls that layer, not the practice. We recheck the webhook after any change we notice and confirm the numbers before you rely on them.
Get your NexHealth to Google Ads setup scoped.
Tell us which booking widget your practice uses on top of NexHealth and which appointment status means a real new patient for you. A fixed price for the build comes back in a free proposal, within one business day.
