Recovery: Google Ads

Your daily budget sits unused and Google Ads will not spend it.

A campaign can look funded and still spend almost nothing. We check campaign status, ad rank, targeting width, and billing in that order, because each one blocks spend in a different way.

  • Read access before we touch anything
  • One clear cause, not a guess
  • Free scope before you commit

Evidence, then action

How we find why the money is not moving

The evidence we pull first

We open the campaign status column, the billing summary, the ad rank and impression share columns, and the keyword status list. Google labels the real cause right there, as Limited by budget, Under review, Eligible (limited), or a billing hold, and most account owners never scroll over to read it.

The triage order

First we rule out billing, since a failed card or an overdue balance stops spend outright with no other symptom. Next we check ad and keyword disapprovals, then targeting width across location, language, and network settings, and only then do we look at whether the bid is simply too low for the auction.

What usually fixes it

Updating a failed payment method, fixing a disapproved ad, widening a location radius set too tight, or raising the bid or budget to match the real cost per click in your market solves the great majority of these cases. It is rarely one mysterious algorithm problem.

What we cannot promise

We cannot promise Google will approve every ad on the first resubmission, since some policy reviews take a human reviewer days, not hours. We can promise we will tell you which of these it is and give you a straight answer about the fix.

The decision tree we run

If the campaign says Limited by budget

we check whether the daily budget sits below what the auction actually needs for your keywords, since a $10 daily budget in a $15 cost per click market will not spend out.

If the status says Eligible but spend is still near zero

we check impression share lost to rank, because a low Quality Score or a bid far under competitors can leave a technically active campaign practically invisible.

If an ad or extension shows Under review or Disapproved

we check the specific policy named on the asset, since one disapproved piece in an ad group can throttle delivery for the whole group.

If spend stopped on a specific date

we check the billing page and the change history for that day first, since an expiring card or a paused campaign explains most sudden drops.

How the engagement runs

01

Read access and a status check

We ask for view only access and start with the status column and billing page, the two fastest places a block shows up.

02

A plain written cause

You get one clear answer, in writing, on which of billing, disapproval, targeting, or bid strength is holding the budget back.

03

Fix, then a spend check

We make the fix and confirm spend resumes at a normal pace within a few days, since some changes need a short relearning period first.
