Offline Conversion Import
Offline conversion import, so late leads still count.
We connect the click that brought in a lead to what happened weeks later, a signed contract, a completed job, or a closed sale, and send that result back to Google Ads.
- You get a free quote within one business day, no strings attached
- Built around the CRM or spreadsheet you already use
- Our 30 day guarantee applies to this too
What we set up
The pieces that make late conversions visible.
Auto tagging check
We confirm auto tagging is turned on in your Google Ads account so every click carries a GCLID, the identifier this whole setup depends on.
GCLID capture on your forms
We add a hidden field to your lead form so the GCLID from the visitor's click gets saved alongside their name and email in your CRM or spreadsheet.
Import conversion action
We create an Import type conversion action in Google Ads and set the matching window to fit your typical sales cycle, whether that is days or months.
Upload method setup
We set up a repeatable way to send closed deal data back, a manual CSV upload, a Zapier or Make connection, or the Google Ads API if your CRM supports it.
What we need from you, and how you know it worked.
Access we need
Admin access to Google Ads, a look at how your CRM or spreadsheet stores leads today, and someone on your team who can confirm which leads actually closed.
What is delivered
A working GCLID capture field, an Import conversion action, and a documented upload process your team or ours can run on a schedule.
The acceptance test
We run one full loop, a test lead clicks an ad, fills your form, gets marked as closed, and appears matched in the Import conversion action, not as unmatched.
Out of scope
We do not manage your CRM or chase your sales team for status updates. Someone on your side needs to mark deals as closed for this to keep working.
How the setup runs.
01
Map the sales cycle
We find out how long it takes a lead to become a customer and how your team currently records that outcome.
02
Build the capture and upload
We add the GCLID field to your form and set up the upload method that fits your CRM, without asking your team to learn a new tool if we can avoid it.
03
Run a full test loop
We push a test lead through the entire cycle, click to close, and confirm it lands correctly in Google Ads before calling the project done.
Offline conversion import, answered.
A GCLID is a unique identifier Google Ads attaches to a click. If your form captures it and your CRM stores it, you can send a result back weeks later and Google Ads will know exactly which ad and keyword deserve credit.
Yes. Google Ads lets you set a conversion window that matches how long it actually takes a lead to close, whether that is a week or several months, as long as the GCLID was captured at the start.
Yes. Plenty of businesses run this with a spreadsheet and a manual monthly upload. It works, it just takes someone remembering to do it, which is worth automating later with Zapier or Make.
That usually means they arrived through a channel that is not a Google Ads click, like organic search or a direct visit, so there is nothing to import for that lead. That is expected, not a bug.
Only if you want conversion values attached, which helps Google Ads optimize toward higher value leads. If you would rather keep values private, we can import the conversion as a count without a dollar amount.
Give Google Ads credit for the leads that close later.
