A Shopify marketing agency that starts with your checkout data.
Shopify runs your checkout, your product catalog and your customer list. That is great for selling and tricky for tracking, because the checkout no longer lets old theme code watch what happens. We set up the tracking, the product feed and the email flows the way Shopify expects today, then run your ads on top of numbers you can trust.
- Google Ads at 10% of budget, no markup
- $0 setup, cancel any month

What changes on Shopify
Four parts of your marketing that Shopify handles its own way.
Tracking lives in Customer events
Shopify moved checkout tracking out of the theme. Pixels now live under Settings, Customer events, as app pixels or custom pixels that run in a sandbox. A Google Tag Manager container pasted into theme.liquid cannot see the checkout steps anymore. We pick one route per store, the Google and YouTube app, a custom pixel, or a server-side setup, so each purchase reaches GA4 and Google Ads once.
Consent before tags fire
Shopify's customer privacy settings include a cookie banner, and pixels that respect it wait for the shopper's choice. Quebec's Law 25 asks for consent before most tracking, and several US states have opt-out rules of their own. We check that Google's consent mode actually receives the choice, and that your ad tags hold back until it does.
Your product feed is your Shopping ad
The Google and YouTube app syncs products to Merchant Center. Titles, GTINs, variant options and shipping rates all come from your Shopify product data, so a vague product title becomes a vague ad. We fix the source data in the admin, add feed rules where Shopify cannot help, and then build Shopping and Performance Max campaigns on top.
Email and repeat buyers
Klaviyo and Shopify Email both read your order history, so flows can start on a started checkout, a first order or a customer who has gone quiet. We build those flows and compare the revenue each tool claims with the orders Shopify actually recorded, so email and ads are not both taking credit for the same sale.
What is easy on Shopify, and what needs a workaround.
Easy: hosting and checkout speed
Shopify hosts the store and runs checkout on its own servers, so there is no caching plugin or SSL certificate for you to babysit. Slow pages usually come from the theme and the apps you have added. The web performance report in your admin shows Core Web Vitals from real shoppers, and that report is where our speed review starts.
Workaround: checkout changes
The checkout cannot be edited with theme code anymore. Changes go through checkout extensibility and approved apps, and some of that is only open to Shopify Plus stores. Post-purchase offers and custom thank-you content need a supported app or extension, so we plan those around what your plan allows.
Workaround: leftover app code
Every review widget, upsell popup and chat bubble loads its own scripts. Removing an app does not always remove the snippets it left in your theme files. We list every script on your product and collection pages, trace each one to an app, and remove the dead ones before we touch ad budgets.
Not this page: a new store build
If you need a new theme or a full rebuild, that is our Shopify development work, priced as a one-time website package from $1,500 to $20,000+. This page covers the marketing on the store you already have: tracking, feed, ads, email and the reporting that ties them together.
How we start on your store.
01
Audit the data
We place a test order and watch which pixels fire, check Merchant Center for disapproved products, and read your email flows from start to finish.
02
Fix the plumbing
One purchase event per order, consent wired in, feed errors cleared and flows switched on. Nothing gets launched on top of broken data.
03
Run and report
We manage the campaigns month to month and report revenue from Shopify's own order records next to what each ad platform reports.
Shopify marketing questions.
Google Ads management is 10% of your ad budget, with a minimum of $600 CAD or $450 USD a month, and we never mark up the spend. There is no setup fee, no contract, and a 30-day guarantee where you do not pay if you are not happy. Email and other pieces are scoped in your free proposal, sent within one business day.
They count different things. Shopify counts every order it takes, including ones from shoppers who declined cookies or used an ad blocker. GA4 only sees visitors whose browsers let the tag run. A gap is normal. A gap that suddenly grows usually means a pixel broke, and that is what we watch for.
No. Tracking, Merchant Center, Google Ads, Meta and Klaviyo all work on the standard plans. Plus matters when you want deeper checkout changes, like custom fields or scripts on the checkout itself. We tell you in the proposal if anything we suggest needs a plan change.
Google Shopping, Performance Max and Search are the core, since shoppers searching a product name are ready to buy. We add Meta when you have strong product photos and a margin that can pay for colder traffic. Each channel gets its own line in the report.
Only small, tested edits: removing dead app code, fixing a broken add-to-cart event, compressing a heavy hero image. We do not redesign your store under a marketing retainer. If you want a redesign, we quote it as a separate website package.
