Full-time, year-round

Experienced roofing installer

$28 – $38 / hour + production bonus

You've torn off, dried in, and shingled in real weather, and you're tired of outfits that treat fall protection as a suggestion and payday as a negotiation. We run four employee crews — no labor brokers — and winters are for metal fabrication, repairs and paid training, not layoffs.

The work

  • Tear-off, dry-in, and installation across asphalt, standing-seam and cedar systems
  • Flashing fabrication and installation — we never reuse flashing, so you'll bend a lot of metal
  • Site protection, clean-up and the twice-per-job magnet sweep
  • Mentoring an apprentice — every crew carries one

What it takes

  • 3+ years on residential roofs; steep-slope experience is a strong plus
  • Current fall-protection competency (or certify in your first week, on us)
  • Comfortable being photographed doing things right — our documentation culture is real
  • Driver's license and the ability to be at the shop by 6:45 a.m.

Full-time, paid training

Apprentice installer / ground crew

$19 – $23 / hour, reviewed every 6 months

No roofing experience required — bring work ethic and show up. You'll start on the ground (loading, tear-off support, site protection, the magnet sweep) and be on the roof learning the trade within your first month. Every journeyman on our crews started somewhere; two of our four crew leads started in this exact role.

The work

  • Material handling, tear-off support and debris management
  • Site and landscaping protection — tarps, plywood paths, the magnet sweep
  • Learning flashing, underlayment and shingle installation under a journeyman
  • Keeping the truck and trailer inventory squared away

What it takes

  • 18+, able to lift 80 lbs repeatedly and work at height (we train the safety part)
  • Reliable transportation to the Harbor Mills shop
  • No roofing experience needed — we'd rather teach good habits than fix bad ones
