Hailstorm tore up our roof. Beacon walked us through the insurance claim, replaced the whole roof in 2 days. We didn’t pay anything beyond our deductible. Best contractor experience we’ve had.

Got 3 estimates for siding. Beacon was middle on price but had the lifetime workmanship warranty + James Hardie certification. Two years in, sided neighbors’ houses are showing wear; ours looks brand new.

Roof started leaking on a Sunday. Beacon’s emergency line picked up, had a tarp on by 8am Monday, full replacement quoted Tuesday, installed by Friday. Fast, fair price, professional.

Crew showed up at 7am and didn’t leave until job was done. Same crew, no rotating workers. Cleaned up perfectly — magnetic sweep got every nail. Couldn’t tell anyone had been there except for the new roof.

Got my GAF Master Elite warranty paperwork the day after install. Most contractors hand you a generic warranty card; this was the real deal with manufacturer registration confirmed. Will be the only roofer I use.

I run an HOA. Beacon has done 14 homes in our neighborhood over 5 years. Every single one delivered on time, on budget, with no complaints. They’re my first call for any board referral.

Critical reviews

The rare lower stars

3-star — Charlotte, March 2025
‘Job was fine; sales process was confusing. Estimator gave me one price + then a different price showed up on the contract.’ Our response: we tracked down the estimator + investigated. Pricing miscommunication; we honored the original quote + improved our internal QA. Customer’s response: changed to 5 stars after.
2-star — Greenville, October 2024
‘Job was good but post-install storm damage took 3 weeks to address.’ Our response: we owned the slow response + fixed the issue + improved our 5-year storm-coverage SLA. Customer was satisfied with resolution.
1-star — Atlanta, May 2024
‘Crew left a mess + my flowerbed was damaged.’ Our response: full remediation, including replacing damaged plantings + a manager site-visit + apology. Customer accepted resolution; review remains 1-star which we accept.
How we handle critical reviews
We respond to every review — positive or negative. We don’t delete or game reviews. We address legitimate complaints with action, not platitudes. Less than 1% of jobs end below 4 stars; we work hard to keep that ratio.
