Siding that sheds water, not just looks new
Siding is your home's second roof. We install fiber cement and insulated vinyl, wrapped and flashed to work with the roofline, so water runs off the wall instead of into it.
Price, time on site and warranty
Published price
Fiber cement: $7.50 to $13.50 per sq ft installed
Insulated vinyl runs $4.75 to $8.25 per sq ft. Both include tear-off, house wrap and flashing.
Time on site
Most homes take 4 to 8 working days, depending on size and how much rot we find.
Warranty
Workmanship covered for 15 years on full re-siding; finish warranties from the manufacturer.
Signs it's time
What homeowners usually notice first
- Boards that are warped, cracked, loose or bulging
- Paint that peels within a couple of years of painting
- Soft or swollen trim around windows and doors
- Woodpecker holes or gaps where pests get in
- Water stains on inside walls below windows
Not sure? Stay off the ladder. Send ground photos with your estimate request and we'll tell you what we see.
Included, always
Line by line, in every quote
- Tear-off and disposal of the old siding
- House wrap, seam tape and kick-out flashing where siding meets the roof
- Window and door trim flashed to the maker's spec (it's what keeps the warranty valid)
- Factory-finish or site-painted options with written finish warranties
How the job runs
Six steps, no surprises left in them
-
Step 1: Walkthrough
We check every wall, probe for soft spots and note where the roof meets the siding.
-
Step 2: Written quote
Product, color and trim choices in plain language, with the price per wall if you'd like to phase it.
-
Step 3: One wall at a time
Old siding comes off one face at a time, and that face is closed up before the crew leaves each day.
-
Step 4: Find, photograph, approve
Any rot is photographed and priced. Nothing is covered up until you say yes.
-
Step 5: Wrap, flash, side, trim
House wrap, window and kick-out flashing, then siding and trim.
-
Step 6: Final walkthrough
We walk the house with you and hand over the finish warranty paperwork.

Siding questions
Fiber cement or vinyl: which is better?
Fiber cement is harder, paintable, fire-resistant and peck-proof, and it costs more. Insulated vinyl costs less, never needs paint and adds a little insulation. On older or character homes we usually suggest fiber cement. On a budget, good insulated vinyl installed right beats cheap fiber cement installed badly.
Can you replace just one wall?
Yes, if the rest is sound. We'll try to match the color and profile and show you a sample first. Sometimes the honest answer is that a patch will always show, and we'll say so before you spend the money.
Do I need a permit?
Some valley towns require one for full re-siding. We know which ones, pull the permit ourselves, and include the fee in the quote.
What colors can I get?
Dozens of factory finishes in both fiber cement and vinyl, or primed boards painted on site. We bring large samples so you can see them against your roof and trim in daylight.
