Questions

What members ask about First Nest Youth Savings

Still wondering? Read the full FAQ or ask a person.

Who owns the account?

The child is the owner, with a parent or guardian as joint owner until 18. Anyone can make deposits. Withdrawals need the adult.

What happens at 16?

First Nest becomes a regular savings account, and your teen can open Student Checking. The balance and the habit both carry over.

Do kids really get passbook stamps?

Yes. Bring the passbook to any branch and a teller stamps each deposit. It sounds old-fashioned. Kids love it anyway.
